We recommend annual exams to ensure your eyes are healthy and seeing well. For children 18 and under or seniors 65 and over in Ontario, OHIP covers the cost of a comprehensive exam once every 12 months.
At the exam your health history, your visual function, and the ocular health will be assessed. With certain health or ocular conditions, we may recommend more frequent exams or certain tests. Contact us to book your appointment today
Contact lenses
Contact lenses are medical devices and should be assessed annually. It is important to make sure the contact lenses aren’t affecting your ocular health. Often times your contact lens prescription is not the same as it is for your glasses.
